Christine Fieldhouse

Welcome!

Christine Fieldhouse's book, an autobiography, Why Do Monsters Come Out At Night? is published by Hay House and is available now on Amazon.

Described as an "uplifting autobiographical story" in a review in the Scottish Daily Mail (5 October 2007), Monsters is also featured on the Hay House website.

Monsters tells the story of Christine's early years with her father, a heavy drinker, whose unpredictable mood swings turned him from a caring family man into a foul-mouthed monster. Christine's often harrowing past contrasts well with her role as a happy mum, wife and journalist today and her journey from frightened child to loving mother who has made sense of her past is inspirational.

Why Do Monsters Come Out At Night? is a frank and honest memoir, a rollercoaster read which will have readers laughing and crying with every chapter.

Christine has 25 years' experience as a newspaper and magazine journalist. For the last 15 years she has worked as a freelance and has contributed news features and case study pieces, as well as health, travel and self-help, to the national and regional press.

Christine lives in North Yorkshire with her husband, Ian Cross, also a journalist, and their son Jack, who's eight.
